A few years ago, I remember that was in1998 when I worked in my hometown, I had a heavy cold.
At the beginning of the cold, I had a headache and musleache. Then I started to have high fever. My temperature reached 39 degrees. I felt dizzy and was very cold. I put two sets of quilts on my body but I always felt cold. I ate some medicine, which was similar to panadol, to decrease my body's temperature, but I failed. At the beginning, the temperature was controlled not to increase, but the time in which the temperature was kept normal was very short. Soon, I had high fever again. Like this, I battled with the disease for a week. I lay in bed for a week.I didn't feel like eating anything, I just ate some congee. When I stopped to have fever, I was very weak.
I think my cold was caused by the influenza virus, but at that time there was no particular medicine to fight this virus. But now there is a sort of medicine to fight it. If I have it again, I should take it to treat this disease,I'm sure I won't be tormented for a long time as last time.

I think everybody and the media are very concerned about every aspect of famous people's lives, including medical problems. They have to accept this fact no matter whether they are happy or unhappy. In my opinion, women should love themselves including their bodies. They will meet many challengs in their a lives such as getting married and having babies etc. Somtimes these things will threaten women's heath. When women grow old, the denger of getting women's disease, such as breast cancer and cervical cancer etc, increases. I reckon all women shoud do breast self-examination to find some changes about breast in time. They should do pap tests every two years too. They can discrease the risk women have these diseases. It is very important for women's health.
About event media reports about Superstar Kylie Minogue having breast cancer, I reckon they oughtn't do those. That is her personal privacy. Because a person is very unlucky when one has a disease, especially cancer, it's difficult to recover one's health. The media oughtn't disturb her. But Kylie is a superstar, a person who is known by everyone, so the media is interested in everything about her. I think this is a fact she has to face as a public figure .

The Blue Mountain is the famous place in the West of Sydney. The forest in the mountain valley are full of gum trees. These trees ooze eucalyptus oil into the air creating a blue haze across the mountains. This is reson why this mountain is called-Blue Mountain. In there, the most attractive place is called three sisters. They are three steep peaks and attract many backpacker to climb them. The natural sights is spectacular including thundering waterfulls, lush rainforests and rolling green hills etc. There are many guesthouses, posh hotels to provide accommodation. You can stay there to do mountain biking, abseiling and bushwalking etc.

I'm going to Blue Mountain with my family this weekend. We are going to there by train. The train starts from Centre station at 8:22 a.m and arrives Lithgow station at 11:02 a.m. We can catch the bus from Lithgow to Bathurst at 11:18 a.m. In the afternoon, we are going to go back to Lithgow by bus. I have been in Sydney for 8 monthes with my family. Last Friday, we starded our Eater holiday. I have been in Kiama which was a small town in South of Sydney on a-one-week holiday. we used internet to book a cabin which is near the beach, is comfortable and romantic! We drove our car, left our home at 9 o'clock a.m on Saterday. It took us two hours to come here. On the way here, I found the view was spectacular! I like it very much. We are staying in the cabin now! We can see the sea through the window! The view is perfect! When we arrived here, we went out for our lunch. We ate seafood which was tasty! After the main course, we ate ice-cream, it was fantastic! In the afternoon, we did wading on the beach for a long time. we were too tired, so we had a long rest in the cabin. Yesterday, we walked arround the town. There was a performance of juzz in the square. It was interesting! Tomorrow, we are going to vist a farm which was a large farm and feed a lot of horses. We feel fantastic! I wish you had been here with me. Next year, if you come to Australia, I will bring you here. I think you will like here too.

I have to eat dinner, my friends are waiting for me. Maybe, I'm going to go back to China in July.

My name is JIE. I come from China. Last year, 12th of August, I arrived in Australia.Before I lived in BeiJing, the capital of China . I'm 34 years old. I have a 8-year-old daughter.

When I joined work place, I was a young girl. Frist, I worked for the CDC(Centre of Disease Control) as a research asistant. I researched virous that it was a sort of microorganism with my colleague. Humans will have disease or die if they are infected. We had tried to find a way to control these microorganism to not let them infect human. In that period, I met my husband, who was my colleague's classmate. After we were married, I left the CDC. I joined a company which was a world famous company .I had worked in that company until I left China to Australia. I gave a lot of awards from the company. they were my pride when I worked for the company.

Eric rode the bicycle alone on the snowy ground. He went to see his grandfather, because today was commemoration day of 60 years since his grandfather had sacrificed his life for their country.

In the Second War, the German Army attacked their country.His grandfather joined the Army to defend their country. He was just 30 years old. He was a hero, he got many medals from government. In 1945,second of January, he sacrificed his life to defend this city in a battle.When he died, Eric's father was just 5 years old. He alway's left his wife and his 5-year-old son.

Grandfather has been his family's pride forever. Each one of family have love him. Eric goes to see him to represent his family each year when winter comes, the weather colding up. It snows.
